General Courses
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
develops and enforces standards under the federal OSH Act of 1970, providing
for safe and healthful workplace practices and conditions.
OSHA requires that employers provide workplaces free from
hazards likely to cause health and safety risks to employees. OSHA has
established standards for hazard assessments, employee safety and health,
hazard communication, recordkeeping, OSHA inspections, employee rights, and
the penalties for non-compliance.
Due to a lack of in-house resources, employers often do not know who to turn to
for OSHA training and compliance. The answer is OSCA.
OSCA offers a comprehensive catalog of general safety courses that can be used
by employers to train and educate their employees. These include:
-
Workplace Safety and Health
-
Environmental Controls
-
Professional Development
