FAQ - ExxonMobil Worker Recipient CBT (19EMTRWR) and
'Worker Recipient Plus'
Q. Who is required to take the ExxonMobil Worker Recipient
CBT Training?
A. An individual who is required to be certified as a worker recipient who
needs to sign as the QUALIFIED PERSON for a Refinery Work Order (RWO),
AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE for Lock out/Tag out (LOTO), as the AUTHORIZED PERSON on
Hot Work/Confined Space Entry Permits or sign as the CRAFTSPERSON on a Low
Energy Work Permit.
Q. How can I register an individual for this training?
A. You may go on line at
www.osca.com or the DER may fax a completed and signed registration
form to the OSCA training department.
Q. Who is required to take the Worker Recipient Plus
training?
A. All individuals that are required to take the Worker Recipient CBT are also
required to take the Worker Recipient Plus.
Q. How do I register an individual for the Worker Recipient
Plus?
A. You may go on line at
www.osca.com or the DER may fax a completed and signed registration
form to the training department.
Q. When and where is the Worker Recipient Plus training held?
A. Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. This training is held at ExxonMobil
Torrance Refinery, Gate 7 Training Trailer. During ExxonMobil Torrance Refinery
turn arounds, OSCA will schedule additional classes as needed.
Q. Does it matter which training is taken first?
A. Yes, the individual must take and pass the Worker Recipient CBT (19EMTRWR)
first. Students must attend the Worker Recipient Plus (19WRPLUS instructor led
class) within 30 days from that date.
Q. What if the individual does not take the 19WRPLUS within
30 days from the 19EMTRWR date?
A. The 19EMTRWR will expire and the individual must take and pass the CBT
portion again.
