This online course is designed to meet the two-hour sexual harassment training requirements of California AB1825. Sexual harassment is defined as any offensive conduct related to an employee’s gender that a reasonable woman or man should not have to endure. Potential sexual harassment entanglements appear everywhere in the work environment in many different forms. Employees and Managers need to be on constant alert of inappropriate behavior. This course is designed to raise management’s awareness of the potential employee issues and the legal liabilities associated with sexual harassment.
In addition, in this course you will learn about sexual harassment and what employers – and their managers and supervisors – must know, do, or not do when dealing with any situation that arises from an employee with a sexual harassment complaint. You will also learn about California law as it relates to sexual harassment, and learn the importance of establishing and maintaining a respectful workplace where people are tolerant of differences, both professional and friendly.
