Safe Backing and Turning
Description: Backing accidents represent more than half of the motor vehicle accidents reported by many of the nation’s largest fleets on an annual basis. Backing is our weakest skill because we spend 99% of our time driving forward. A consistent defensive approach to backing and turning can reduce the likelihood of driver error. This training is designed to serve as a training tool for new drivers as well as veteran drivers.
