Description:
The course describes the typical compressor cylinder repairs and components to ensure safe operations as natural gas is transported through the unit. The student will learn Compressor Gas Path Maintenance, the operations of a compressor unit without any gas leakage is stressed. Course content includes removing, inspecting and replacing compressor valves, packing and compressor rod inspection, movement of major components; seals and operations of the cylinder in the transmission of natural gas.
