Objectives:
BP Carson Continuous Gas Monitoring training is designed to inform a trained Safety Attendant on how to operate and understand the gas monitor used in the Carson Refinery for Confined Space Entry. This class can only be taken by prospective Safety Attendants who have passed the BP Carson Safety Attendant Training. The Carson Refinery issues gas monitors for all confined space entries and the safety attendant must understand how to operate it and what to do in the case of unacceptable gas monitoring results.
