Description: The Torrance Refinery has determined "controls sensitive positions" to be any position that may bring in or coordinate to bring in outside visitors to the site, or who may utilize or be in contact with certain technology that is controlled by Federal government regulations, including: Export and re-export of U.S. origin items and technologies Most items and technologies sent to any party / destination, except the sanctioned countries and restricted parties Other items and technologies that require a license before export to certain destinations for foreign policy reasons or because they have a potential for nuclear, weapons, or terrorist use Those that restrict the countries and parties with whom ExxonMobil can have commercial dealings and the nature of those dealings The course is designed to ensure a base level understanding of the above mentioned requirements in order obtain and maintain an entry badge for the Torrance ExxonMobil Refinery.
